9899 Travertin stoneware

Notes/Application

  • Silk-matt, ochre-coloured glaze with blue precipitations, the glaze has a very earthy character
  • Apply 2 – 3 coats (better 2 times)
  • Firing range: 1220 – 1280°C, 30 min soak, most beautiful from 1250°C on
  • 1220°C: silk-matt, slightly greenish ochre-yellow glaze with very fine play of effects
  • 1250°C: silk-matt glaze with beautiful play of colours of predominantly ochre with cream-coloured an blue precipitations, when applied as a thin coat it will shine through in terracotta-orange
  • 1280°C: silk-matt to glossy glaze with particularly beautiful play of colours of ochre and blue, when applied as a thin coat shining through in terracotta-orange and on the edges, apply 1 thick coat to 2 coats
