Liebe BOTZ Händlerinnen und Händler, verehrte Partner*Innen,
alle Jahre wieder…. schon ist wieder Weihnachten und - gerade in unserer Branche - ist dieses Fest
im Vorfeld oft mit Arbeit und Stress verbunden. Vielleicht ist es gut, sich nun daran zu erinnern,
dass eine Ruhephase nötig ist und sie bei Kerzenschein und Keksen bald beginnen kann. Wir sind sicher,
Sie haben eine Auszeit verdient: Ihre BOTZ-Aktivitäten als Händler*Innen samt Ihren Teams sind großartig.
Wir schauen auf ein sehr erfolgreiches Jahr zurück und wissen, dass wir es auch Ihrem täglichen Einsatz
zu verdanken haben. DANKE! Und wir sind auch ein wenig stolz, dass wir mit unserem stetig wachsenden
Team die große Nachfrage so gut und schnell bedienen konnten.
RAUS: Platz im Regal
Zum Jahresende gehört auch Aufräumen dazu: Aus verschiedenen Gründen werden wir wieder einige
Glasuren aus dem Programm nehmen.

Der BOTZ Schmelzpunktsenker 9800 wird bereits direkt zum Jahresstart 2026 aus dem Programm genommen.
Tipp: Wer den Schmelzpunkt einer Hochbrand-Glasur reduzieren möchte, kann das auch mit BOTZ PLUS erreichen,
wenn das Objekt ganz damit überzogen wird.
NEU: Rezepturen & Innovationen
Einige Glasurrezepte haben sich im letzten Jahr verändert, das kann manchmal bedeuten, dass die Farbe vor dem
Brand eine andere geworden ist als zuvor, das Brennergebnis aber nahezu identisch bleibt. Das betrifft häufig blaue
Farben, die vor Brand statt bekanntem Lila-Ton nun blauen Schlicker haben, z.B. 9881, 9889 und 9874…
ABER: Wir sind auch in Vorbereitung zu ganz neuen Produkten, die schon sehr vielversprechend sind (liebe Grüße
an unser Labor!), aber noch ausführliche Testphasen durchlaufen, damit wir Ihnen dann im Laufe des Jahres mehr
berichten und vorstellen können.
Wie üblich stehen wir wieder auf der creativeworld 2026 in Frankfurt a. M. vom 6.-9.2.26, Stand B40/Halle 1.1.
Mittlerweile hat sich der Messe-Platz für Keramik-HändlerInnen etabliert und neben uns stellen auch die geschätzten
Branchenkollegen von SIO2, HELMUT ROHDE Ofenbau und NABERTHERM dort aus… Der Besuch lohnt sich!
Nun aber erst einmal Ihnen frohe Feiertage und Zeit zum Energietanken, denn wir sind sicher: das nächste Jahr
wird wieder ein tolles Keramikjahr! Wir freuen uns auf Sie, neue Ideen und gute Kontakte und wünschen

Dear BOTZ retailers and partners,
Same procedure as every year... Christmas is calling once again and – especially in our industry – this festive season
is often associated with work and stress in the run-up to it. It is certainly good to remember that a period of rest is
necessary and that it may soon begin by candlelight and biscuits. We are sure you deserve a break:
Your BOTZ activities as our partners, together with your teams, are simply fantastic.
We can look back on a very successful year and we know that we owe it also to your daily commitment. THANK YOU!
And we are also a little proud that our steadily growing team has been able to meet the high demand well and quickly.

The end of the year is also a time for tidying up: for various reasons, we will be removing some glazes from our range.
Available until approx. end of March 2026 (while stocks last):

BOTZ 9800 melting point reducer will be removed from the range right at the start of 2026.
Tip: If you want to reduce the melting point of a high-fire glaze, you can also achieve this with BOTZ PLUS,
if the object is completely coated with it.
NEW: Formula & Innovations
Some glaze recipes have changed over the last year, which can sometimes mean that the colour before firing
is different than before, but the firing result is almost identical. This often affects blue colours, which now have
blue slip before firing instead of the familiar purple tone, e.g. with 9881, 9889 and 9874...
BUT: We are also preparing some brand new products that are already very promising (best regards to our laboratory!),
but are still undergoing extensive testings. We will tell you more and introduce them to you later in the upcoming year.
As usual, we will be exhibiting at creativeworld 2026 in Frankfurt am Main from 6-9 February 2026, booth B40/Hall 1.1.
The trade fair has now established itself as the place to be for ceramics dealers, and alongside us, our esteemed industry
colleagues from SIO2, HELMUT ROHDE Ofenbau and NABERTHERM will also be exhibiting there... It's well worth a visit!
But first, we wish you happy holidays and time to recharge your batteries, because we are certain, next year is going to be
another great year for ceramics! We look forward to seeing you, your new ideas and making new contacts.
