The following applies for all BOTZ glazes: they are all non-toxic, i.e., they are lead-free and do not contain a concentration level of hazardous substances whose indication is required in compliance with the Regulations on Hazardous Substances.
All BOTZ glazes are brush-on glazes – ready-to-use and easy to apply with the brush. As they are lead-free and non-labelled, they are ideal for use in training, leisure and in the field of professional ceramics design. Thanks to their excellent brush-on capacities, all glazes are very rich. A 200ml jar is equivalent to approx. 350 to 450 g mixed powder glaze.

24 liquid decorative colours for on-glaze, under-glaze and majolica technique, can be combined very well with all BOTZ products
BOTZ stoneware: due to absolute sealing properties and the high resistance against chemical and mechanical influence, it is suited for high-quality ceramics and tableware
BOTZ PLUS 1150° - 1250°C
increases the effects particularly nicely on BOTZ stoneware glazes and distinctly increases the brilliance of the ceramics.
BOTZ Melting point reducer 1220° – 1280°C
is added to BOTZ Steinzeug to reduce the melting point to 1150°C, slight colour deviations are possible while maintaining maximum surface quality
BOTZ Brush
simple boar bristles, very well suited for the 2–3 layer application of BOTZ Flüssigglasur, Engoben, Glimmer and Steinzeug. Brush strokes fire smoothly.
BOTZ separating agent 900 – 1260°C
protects the kiln plates and absorbs glaze running off. Ready for direct use, brush a light layer onto the plate.
